June 2009 CLOSURE OF COARE  To All Family, Friends, Supporters and Customers, I have decided to close Creative Opportunities and Reality Expression (COARE). To honour the memory of the late Rex Stephenson Jr. and the successful running of COARE for 10 years, I want everyone to know that this decision was a difficult one to make.   To all my family, friends, supporters and loyal customers who believed in a dream and stood behind us and supported us in the good times as well as the bad, THANK YOU! Words can’t express my gratefulness and happiness that you supported our dream for many years. I also want to thank the original 6 team members.  It was a blast and the hard work paid off for many successful years.  Without our partnership in the beginning we wouldn’t have been successful. I would like to keep the memory of my late partner and best friend Rex alive. Two years ago Rex and I enjoyed a boat ride on The Sixteen Mile Creek one Sunday morning and I remember Rex talked about this experience for many days. On that trip we saw two Blue Herons and an Eagle flying high in the sky. The wheelchair access to board a boat was made possible through a wonderful charity called CharterAbility. www.CharterAbility.com Their goal is to open the door to recreational boating for people who have been deprived of the opportunity by virtue of their physical limitations or personal circumstances – and, thereby, enhance the quality of their lives.    Again, thank you to everyone who contributed to the dream of COARE.
